Robert A. Curran Sr., PMP is the Chief Information Officer for The School District of Osceola County (SDOC), Florida. SDOC has over 66,000 students and over 8,000 employees. Robert is a Cabinet level executive that reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools. Information Technology’s focus this school year is enhancing our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in every school. SDOC was ranked by the Center for Digital Education (CDE) and the National School Board Association as #5 in the large school district category in the United States for 2017 for its use of technology.
