Beth Nicholas is completing 34 years in education. She began her career in Ector County at Odessa High School as a math and business instructor, and also served at Tuloso-Midway and in Southbury, Connecticut before becoming an adjunct professor at community colleges in Connecticut, Missouri, and Texas. She worked in Allen ISD and served in numerous capacities including: Math Teacher, Instructional Designer, Math/Science Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of Curriculum and Assessment, Assistant Superintendent of Learner Services, and as Interim Superintendent. She joined Mesquite ISD as Deputy Superintendent in 2016. Ms. Nicholas received her bachelor’s from Texas A&I, master’s from the University of Texas of the Permain Basin, and superintendent’s certification from Dallas Baptist.
